Space Shuttle Mobile Launch Pad Designed by A10K Shuttle- 140 pcs Launch Pad- 824 pcs Well, as you can see, this is a mobile launch pad for a space shuttle, that ugly little gimpy thing on top. I'm not too proud of the shuttle itself, however the launch platform itself... that's a different story as you can see. The actual gantry and elevator are suspended between the cabin and the two huge treads, whuch is far more stable than it might sound, which brings me to the fun stuff. This thing is incredibly strong- look at the picture of it hanging off of a bar, suspended just by the gantry. As a matter of fact, anywhere on this model you can get a grip is a place from which you can lift it; I've picked the platform up from the elevator shaft before (the elevator itself is beginning to push it, but it is possible). One can even swing it around by the harness in a circle and it will take a LOT of speed to break it. It did break once when I took it to school and somebody dropped it three-odd feet onto the concrete- its a testament to its strength that it only took me about half an hour throughout the day to reassemble it. Warning- Hi-Rez pictures are over a megabyte apiece. Questions? Comments? Complaints? nosore -AT- gmail.com
