---------------------------------- Creation: MÁV Stadler FLIRT (2014) Author: AshiValkoinen (Donát Raáb) Year: 2014.02. Uploaded: 2018.03. ---------------------------------- --------- ADVICES --------- The LDD-file you can download from this folder contains the SBrick/PF-version of my Stadler FLIRT EMU, train motors, front/tail lights and indoor lights run on internal battery box, the functions are controllod with SBrick. Basically two good quality PF-motors can run the train but I used three PF train motors as middle three bogies to make it slow down less on curves and points. The green bricks in the LDD-file represent the battery box, the SBrick (for lights) and PF-cable connection points. Some cheese slopes around the curved blue-white pattern near the front of the train are not built in into the LDD-model, LDD doesn't allow to fit those but in reality they perfectly fit, without too much stress or falling apart. For front/tail lights I used modified PF-leds, which are polarity-sensitive, the method for this modification is described in Railbricks 9, page 21 by Kovács Viktor Péter. When you use PF train motors, the train motors have a little clips around the pin - these should be removed by sharp knife OR the last row of plates under each car end which lays on Jacobs-bogie should be removed, because on R40 curves these plates and the little clips get stuck. --------- FEATURES --------- This LEGO-creation is a quite realistic replica of the Hungarian Stadler FLIRT EMU delivered for Hungarian State Railway company (MÁV) between 2014 and 2017. The full MOC contains front/tail lights, indoor lights and a coupler mechanism which allows to connect multiple units.
