This is my second attempt at making a Contra Rotating Propeller set up, I completely rebuilt the gearbox so now there is very little resistance from gearing. As it is driven by the new motor it spins very fast and can make enough thrust to pull itself along (when not weighted down by two battery box's). Due to the amount of energy demanded to spin the blades, really good batteries are needed, also it is really hard to balance the blades, I had it balance for a short time but that meant it span even faster resulting in the blades flying out extremely fast (few dents in the walls and furniture), thus I put rubber bands on to hold them in.
