Guest Gallery ------------- This gallery features pictures of various LEGO® models I came across. I simply felt that these models deserve to be shared with the rest of the world. RC Mercedes-Benz Truck ---------------------- Remote Controlled Mercedes-Benz Truck Photographed at: "Modellbautage Hamburg", Hamburg, Germany, 1999 Created by: Axel Wöhnelt-Scheiber Wuppertal, Germany Mercedes-Benz Fire Engine ------------------------- Photographed at: "Modellbautage Hamburg", Hamburg, Germany, 1999 at the official "Freiwillige Feuerwehr" stand Sorry for the bad picture quality, but I took the pictures through a glass show-case, which obviously didn't work so well ... "Car Of The Future" Building Contest ------------------------------------ What would the car of the future look like? Models created by kids (with the help of professional Engineers) Photographed at: "Motorshow Essen", Essen, Germany, 1999 Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer --------------------------------- A fleet of 3 Star Destroyers was hanging below the ceiling of our local department store to promote the arrival of the new Star Wars sets. Photographed at: "Karstadt" department store, Hamburg, Germany, 1999 Volkswagen Beetle ----------------- Photographed at: Miniland, Legoland Park, Billund, Denmark If anyone feels the need to recreate this model with LDraw, please let me know (and send me the .dat file, hehe). Really Big Volkswagen Beetle ---------------------------- This model was featured on the cover of the german tv guide "Funk Uhr" from 1984 to promote a LEGO® building contest. Yellow Jeep ----------- A cool yellow Jeep Photographed at: Miniland, Legoland Park, Billund, Denmark Yellow Convertible ------------------ This model was featured on the back cover of the Nov/Dec 2000 issue of the official "LEGO® World Club Magazin" to promote a racecar building contest. N.Y. Yellow Cab --------------- I photographed this model in 2000 at the so called "LEGO® World Tour" at our local GM (Opel) dealer in Hamburg, Germany. This tour featured some famous land-marks/buildings/sites from around the world, created with LEGO®. The models looked rather old and worn, like they have really toured the world for a long time. Volvo Show Truck ---------------- I saw the real Volvo Show Truck, as it toured major German cities to promote the new sets for 1999. Afterwards I spotted the model of it in Miniland, Legoland Park, Billund, Denmark Kenworth Heavy Duty Wrecker --------------------------- In my opinion this truck was the highlight of the new 2001 Hollywood scenery of Miniland, Legoland Park, Billund, Denmark. Buick Roadmaster Convertible ---------------------------- I spotted this great model in the Hollywood scenery of Miniland (Legoland Park, Billund, Denmark) Why isn't such a great model available as a Model Team set?
