The story: a team of explorers have detected lifesigns on a bleak and desolate planetoid, bombarded by ultraviolet radiation. They put down 2 members of the team to investigate, and at the edge of a plateau of sand-scoured granite, they find the ruins of an alien chapel, in which the blue-skinned priestess solemnly carries out her rites, honouring a rare natural source of clean springwater. Her predecessor's skeletal remains lie interred in a crypt over to the right of the chapel, and the explorers watch as she walks over to honour her dead colleague... (Caveats - I'm now back to LEGO as an adult, and at time of making this had only <400 bricks/parts, of any kind. I used every last light-gray brick I had in this creation - hence it's ruins, and not a full chapel. That may come with time, as I like the theme. I also only have one full kit for the space figures, which is why one has yellow hands, and you'll only see one set of tanks & visor! Oh, and my camera's just a compact jobby right now, not anything with a fantastic zoom or close-up capability... )
