specs: length: ~130 studs (~3.5 feet) width (incl. rotors): 52 studs height: ~22 bricks build time: ~1 week notes: it's not entirely accurate to the original. obviously the engines are markedly different, as is the color scheme, and the design of the boom attachment points. perhaps someday, when I have my full collection to back me, I will attempt this again, but stronger and closer to the original (it is extraordinarily fragile... it almost collapsed sompletely the first time I tried to turn it right-side up, as I had built it upside down.) right now the rubber bands are doing most of the heavy work with holding the airship together, 6 on the main body, 1 on each boom. the hinged parts are not meant to move, just to rest at an angle that might otherwise be difficult to achieve or inherently unstable. the main propshaft is motorised, powered by a battery box and micromotor in the gondola. although the propellers turn slowly, they did so in the game, so I guess it works out. please give me feedback on this, I spent a lot of time and effort on it, and I want to know what could be made better, or any tips you might have for strengthening it (I used up all of my technic half-pins attaching the body panels) Anthony Babington -Hottsnoz@swbell.net
