-maneuverability: the beast rides on 8 heavy tires. top speed over paved surfaces is approximately 100 km/h. overunpaved, hard surfaces there is a negligible reduction in speed, provided the surface is relatively free of large debris. the beast can climb a 55 degree slope with ease, and has a fording depth of approximately 2 meters. over soft terrain (sand, snow, mud, etc.), the beast's top speed is reduced to approximately 73 km/h.

The Beast is the Kelvini Main Battle Tank, designed to close with enemy armor and eliminate the target from medium range. note that the beast CAN fire while in motion, and do so with reasonable accuracy. 

The MC-110-B "Longbore" main gun uses a floating barrel system similar to the Hekash, and a breech-flush venting system to clear combustion gasses from the firing chamber as soon as the projectile is clear of the barrel (the vents for this system can be seen on either side of the turret). expended shells are automatically extracted from the breech and stored in a compartment below the turret and in front of the magazine. if the council allows, a future model of the Beast will be offered with an remote-operated turret and a liquid propellant cannon, allowing an expanded magazine and lower target profile, as well as a smaller crew. we will offer upgrades to the vehicle to previous purchasers for an appreciable discount.
