Starship Explorer

Built as a science ship, the Explorer suprised many humans when it was revealed.
With it's sleek design and two faster than light engines, many people thought that it 
closely resembled a ship that was featured in a sci-fi entertainment show on Earth.
However, despite the numerous lawsuits of copyright infringement, 
the United Systems Empire strictly denied any influence from a TV show on the design of the
ship, saying that the design was "An Experiment on smaller, sleeker, faster ships"
Still, lawsuits claiming that the design and even name of the ship are plagiarized, continue
with the shipbuilders.
