Takua’s First Day as a Toa by GaliGee Scene: The shores of Lake Naho. Takua, the amnesiac Tohunga who in his wanderings helped the Toa save Mata Nui from Makuta, has become a Toa himself, the Toa of Light, in a miraculous transformation. Takua [looking at his reflection in Lake Naho]: Wow, I DID turn out to be handsome. [Gali climbs up the cliffs from the sea and walks up to Takua.] Gali: Hello, Takua. How does it feel to be a Toa? Takua: Great! Say, you remember how you said there was a bond between us? Is that still true? Gali: Of course, Takua. There always will be. Takua: Good, because I think it should get even stronger. Gali: Takua! Stop that! What are you DOING? I’m your MOTHER! Takua: My MOTHER? [sees Tahu approaching with burning fire swords] And Tahu - are you my - DAD? OW! Can I go back to being a Tohunga now? AAAAAHH! My butt’s on fire! [Takua jumps into Lake Naho, with a loud hissing of steam] Tahu: It’s about time that young ‘un learned some respect for his elders. Gali: Aww, you’re so cute when you’re mad. [They link arms and walk away. Takua emerges from the lake and sees Lewa, Kopaka, Pohatu, and Onua on the shore watching him.] Lewa: Sorry, dude. Join the club. Takua [twisting to look at his singed backside]: What club? Pohatu: The Unrequited Love for Gali Club. Takua: But she does love me! At least, I think so. You don’t understand. Kopaka: We saw what happened. What’s to understand? Onua: Look, just admit it. You’re like the rest of us. We’d give our left leg-piece for a night of sweet love with Gali, but she’s Tahu’s, so just get over it. [Onua barely ducks Takua’s blazing light sword. The other Toa wrestle Takua to the ground face-down, and sit on his arms and legs.] Pohatu: What’s the MATTER with you, Takua? Takua [into dirt]: You’re talking about my MOTHER! Kopaka: You made a pass at your mother? Takua: No! Yes! I mean, I didn’t know she was my mother! [The other Toa get off Takua and help him up.] Onua: How could you not know she was your mother? Takua: I lost my memory. How could YOU not know she was my mother? Lewa: We lost our script. Pohatu: Can you ever forgive us, Takua? Takua: Sure, guys. You didn’t know. And besides, let’s face it, Gali - I mean my mom - IS a total babe. Lewa: No kidding. Onua: You’ve had a pretty rough time on your first day as a Toa. Let’s head down to the LEGO Studios Backlot, there’s a nice little latte shop there. Pohatu: Latte is for Turaga. This young Toa needs his first Bula beer. Kopaka: Hear, hear! [They all walk away together, singing manly drinking songs slightly off-key.] THE END
