The Legoa'uld. (From Stargate-SG1) A synthetic life form known as the "miniphigs" crash-landed on the primitive goa'uld homeworld. [This information obtained from artifacts and deciphered records preceeding the following] The larvae quickly overpowered them and took over their minds and bodies. Not all were infected, however, but a small amount of the survivors managed to evade those who did by uniting with the native UNAS tribes. Most are feared dead by accounts of deserted record logs. But the transition was rough, the polymer structure of the Miniphigs' DNA made too much of the host survive. The hosts rejected the Legoa'uld larvae, but were left hideously brain-damaged. The ones who managed to get through a near-by gate were never heard from again, and a recent excavation found the mauled cadavers of those left behind. The only ones who benefited from this were the parasitic Goa'uld. Since their body structure was completely mutated, they no longer needed hosts to get around. They soon organized and created a complex social structure. With their new found strength, agility, and intelligence, not even the native UNAS were safe. ---End data log 1 05/05/2001 --Prepared by Dr. Nanofig under command of Lt. Cl. "Pi"
