I'm sorry, but my bot isn't finished, so its distance is 0. But, nevertheless, I want to show it to you. First I tried how to throw a CD the farest myself. I came to the result to throw it like a frisbee. So my bot has a shoulder, an elbow, a wrist and a hand. At the shoulder and at the elbow, springs are mounted. The hand turns independent. Additionaly, the CD can turn between the two "fingers". When forearm and hand form a line, a mechanism opens the "fingers" and release the CD. This is, when all springs are fully released and the hand is catapulted forward. Before, two mechanisms had to be closed manually. 1. The mechanism for the hand 2. A tooth gear is pressed on a worm gear, when the pulley is turned After this a motor releases the pulley, the springs extend and catapult the arm forward. _____________________________________ Franz Steinmetz - FranzlInventor www.roboshow.de "Wurfarm" (or in english, something like "shotarm")
