This is my 8448 mod. The most significant modification would be the V16. I had to move the 2x2 tile in the front forward 1 stud, move some liftarms in the dash to accommodate the chain, and reverse the transmission gears. I also compacted the transmission to only take up 5x7 studs. The steering wheel is covered in chain and the trunk works. There are two new gear reduction motors in the back, but a third and fourth would help a great deal. The seats have better head rests and I prefer the aesthetic plates for doors instead of the implied surface design Lego used in this set. I do not think that plates conceal any of the functionality.
