2 years ago I built one of my first worth-talking-about MOC after years of "Dark Age"
(many AFOL refer to Dark age the period in life when one has abandonned the LEGO
passion only to return to it years later).  This MOC was Optimus Prime and I had so
few parts that I had to borrow some brick-locking hinges to my bro-in-law of then 8 years
old.  For the time, i thought the robot was ok and the truck was good enough, so the
project was over with.  About a year ago, I started becoming a fan of Mechas and other
cool robots I saw on Brickshelf and decided that someday, I'd redo my Optimus Prime
bigger and better than the first time.  Now the time has come.  I've built the head and shoulders
on Sept.30th.  It's only a matter of days until I finish it, so to be sure I won't waste too much
time, I'll put pressure on myself by putting a teaser right away on Brickshelf.

October 3rd: Yesterday I finished the hips and the skeleton of the legs is ready to be worked on.
With the legs, the only part of the body remaining to be built are the arms, which will probably
be a whole lot tougher than expected at the beginning.  I've finally settled for the wheels and
ordered the grilles part on BrickLink.  Another few days and it will ready to be shown to the world!

October 11th-12th: Ok, so I was lazy this week and didn't work at all on Optimus.  But I had to
work on my BrickLink store, LegoCentrix, because I bought for nearly 800$ of LEGO sets to
put in my store.  So yesterday, 11th, I started to build the arms and quicly discovered that once
finished, they would be fragile.  I'm not a good builder for joints and moving parts, so it's always
kind of weak.  I then started the legs, only to find out they would be a lot bigger than I expected at first.
I5's pretty finished as it is now, but i'll be adding some details later today and maybe i'll take the first pics
for this gallery.  It's huge!  I'm still waiting for those grilles I purchased from BrickLink, I'll also need 2
more wheels because I only have 4 of the ones I use for Optimus (it needs 6).
