************************************************************** * * * * * * * |------------| * * | O O O O | * * | | * * | O O O O | * * |------------| * * * * Greetings, fellow Brickshelf members and visitors. * * * * This is just a brief note to tell you about the Power- * * -Point slide presentation and why I created it. * * * * IMPORTANT: If you plan to view the slideshow, it would * * be easier to rightclick on the .ppt file icon and save * * it to your hardrive than try to run it directly from my * * folder. I promise - no viruses or other baddies. * * * * Anyway, when I first became a Brickshelf member, my * * original goal was to seek out ideas for building a * * really cool LEGO spaceship. So I started going through * * the member's folders and looking at any spaceship images * * I could find, then saving them on a ZIP100mg disk for * * future persual. Well, the images piled up, because all * * the ships turned out to be cool, so I archived them into * * a MS PowerPoint slideshow for reference. Sort of an on- * * -line LEGO idea book for ship-builders. * * * * The format of the show is simple: A slide shows a build- * * -er's name, followed by all the ships built by the named * * individual, one image per slide, and with no added cap- * * -tions or other stuff to detract from the visual appeal. * * * * In all, I've thus far captured 79 images of ships built * * by 29 builders. This is probably just the beginning, for * * I'll likely expand the current file or come out with a * * part II (and III, etc.). * * * * * * STUFF YOU MIGHT FIND INFORMATIVE: * * * * 1. If you see your name and stuff in this show, and want * * to be removed, or have something changed, drop me a * * civil email at phough@cisco.com and let me know what * * the problem is. * * * * 2. For those unfamiliar with MS PowerPoint: * * * * - ALT D V(vee) runs the show * * - ESC ends the show * * - The slides are timed, but a click of the left mouse * * button advances slides for the impatient. * * * * 3. I would appreciate it if this show were not altered * * by anyone but me. For the record, I absolve myself of * * all responsibility for any alterations of this show * * if it is viewed or found at any other location than * * my personal Brickshelf folder. * * * * 4. If you plan to display or link to this slideshow on * * another website, please let me know at * * phough@cisco.com . * * * * * * LEGAL * * * * MS PowerPoint is (C)Microsoft Corporation. * * * * All images are property of their respective creators. * * * **************************************************************
