Prologue Vakama: This the story of Sonic and his friends on Mata-Nui. Some of you may know this, but in the time before time, The great sprit Mata-Nui himself granted us the three virtues: unity, duty, and destiny. But all joy was shattered, by the Makuta. Bringing darkness through out the island and the great spirt himself was put into a deep slumber. This is only the beginning of the Sonicle. Next chapter: Sonic and his friends arrive at Mata-Nui. - Chapter 1: The Arrival (A huge cannister land on Mata-Nui. Out comes six familiar figures.) Sonic: Where are we? Tails: I dunno. Sally: I don't understand! Knuckles: What is this place? Vakama: I have been waiting for you. Amy: Did you say somthing, Big? Big: It wasn't me! It was that mask-wearing gizmo! Vakama: I am Turaga Vakama. Come to my hut. (In Vakama's hut...) Vakama: For years, Mata-Nui, our god has fallen toward Makuta, Mata-Nui's brother. He has sent infected mask-wearing Rahi to attack us. We need your help by taming these beasts! Sonic: So what you're saying is, we must defeat this great evil to free your island, right? Vakama: Right. There is no time to waste now! May the light of Mata-Nui guide you. Next chapter: Sally saves Ga-koro from a Tarakava. - Chapter 2: Sally to the Rescue (It wasn't an ordinary day at Ga-koro today. A Tarakava appears. All the Ga-Matoran flees to near by hut and the infected Rahi sinks it. The Tarakava leaves. Takua appears) Nokama: Help us! (Takua see a machine that would rise the hut. He dives underwater. He finds a gear with a light stone. He resurfaces, place the gear in to the machine. The hut rises. The same Tarakava that attacked appears again. Just as soon the Rahi strikes, Sally runs to Ga-koro and defends her village.) Sally: A Rahi! Just like Vakama told us! (With all her strength and power, she punches and kicks the Tarakava and dunk into the water. Takua and the Ga-Matoran were looking. A few seconds later, the Tarakava was free from the infected mask. Sally was victorious as she held the infected mask. As reward, Nokama gave Takua the Chronicler's device.) Nokama: Record any event that you might see. These recordings will go down in generations. Next Chapter: Po-koro is sick due to infected Comet balls. Can Big save the day? - Chapter 3: The Virus (Takua had arrived at Po-koro, but it wasn't the same as usual. Everyone was sick.) Po-Matoran: Hey! Wanna play Koli? Takua: No thanks. I gotta do something. Po-Matoran: Suit yourself. Po-Matoran are sick to play Koli. (coughs) I gotta go, too! (The Po-Matoran leaves but forgets his Koli ball.) Takua: Hmm... (He takes the Kohlii ball to Onewa's hut. At Onewa's hut...) Onewa: I am sorry, little one. I am busy. Takua: But I have proof of what's making your people sick! Onewa: But this is our best kind of Koli balls! But you sure have proved us. (Takua walks over to the quarry to inspect where these infected balls come from. An angry Nui-Jaga appears. So does Big, ready for action. The Nui-Jaga blinds him.) Big: Adventurer, the Nui-Jaga has blinded me for now. (Takua tell Big to come by a nearby Koli ball. Big kicks it. The ball knocks off the infected masks. The Nui-Jaga flees.) Big: Sight has retuned to me. Hope to see you again! (Big leaves. The mystery of Po-koro's virus has been solved!) Next Chapter: Tails is infected! Can Knuckles save him? - Chapter 4: Tails Vs. Knuckles (Takua had arrived at Le-koro. The Le-Matoran had popped out of their houses after Takua played his flute.) Kongu: I thought that you were one the members of the Rama Swarm. Tamaru: Listen, Matau is gone as well as Tails. Takua: Where are they? Kongu. They're at the Rama hive. Tamaru: Rama Swarm! (A swarm of Nui-Rama had appeared.) Kongu: Hop on to my Kewa bird and we'll fight the Rama Swarm. (After a 10 minutes of flying and fighting of the Nui-Rama Swarm, They arrived at the hive.) Matau: There you are, Chronicler! Tails is infected. And also, we are forced to work here. (Takua begin searching, but his search didn't take too long. He had found Tails wearing an infected Miru. The hive began to shake and out comes Knuckles, ready to fight. Tails began to attack him, but Knuckles used his Hau, causing Tails to crash in to a wall.) Tails: What's this? Not my own body! My brain! Get out of my brain! (Tails fights back a Knuckles. After some punching and kicking, Knuckles gets crashed into a wall. A Hoto Bug crawls up on Knuckle and uses his Matatu and the bug drift and hit Tails' mask. Tails, Knuckles, Matua, Takua and the rest of Le-koro managed to get out, the hard way. Le-koro is free from the evil Nui-Rama!) Next chapter: Takua and Matoro encounters a blood-thirsty Mauka. Will Amy save them? - Chapter 5: Lost In the Snow (Takua was mindlessly wandering around Ko-wahi.) Takua: Haven't I seen this before? (Takua passes out. Then, he gets a vision that says: "Beware the swarm". What could it mean? Takua had found him self in a tent with Matoro.) Matoro: Don't worry, well get you to Ko-koro. (Matoro takes down the tent. Then, encounter a blood-thirsty Mauka. But Amy appears to save them.) Amy: I'm ready to beat you, Rahi! (She summons her Huna and become invisible to Takua, Matoro and the Makua. Amy whack the Rahi with her hammer. She takes off her Huna, and summons her Mahiki. She made two clones of her. With one final strike of her hammer, the Makua is tamed. Takua was taken to Ko-koro and Matoro translated Nuju's words. Matoro: "The warriors of Mata-Nui are at a place called Kini-Nui. You must find them." Next chapter: Sally Kaita and Sonic Kaita fight of the Manas while Takua fights of the the Rahi to defend Kini-Nui. Who shall save the Chronicler of Mata-Nui? - Chapter 6: Tikal and Takua Sonic: This is it everyone, it now or never. Knuckle: Hold it! We have company! Sally: Wait! It's Takua! Brave one you must defend the temple at all costs from the Rahi! Takua: I will not let you down, guys! (Our heros have went down the temple. Mean while at Makuta's lair...) Sonic Kaita: Valor, hear me now! I AM SONIC KAITA! Sally Kaita: Wisdom, hear me now! I AM SALLY KAITA! Sonic Kaita: So, Sally Kaita. You are joined. We must fight the Manas and Makuta. (Meanwhile at Kini-Nui...) Takua: Oh, this is hopeless. I can't fight by myself! HELP! (A light appears and shed some light, knocking off the Rahi's masks off. The light transforms into a female echidna.) Takua: Who are you? Echidna: I'm Tikal. And you are? Takua: I'm Takua. The Chronicler of Mata-Nui. Tikal: Listen to me, you must go to the temple with me. (Meanwhile at Makuta's lair, the Manas are defeated. Sally Kaita and Sonic Kaita had entered the core of the lair.) Sally Kaita: What's this? Sonic Kaita: It feels we're torn apart! (They return to their normal selves.) Knuckles: My Turaga told me that once we entered the core of Makuta's lair, our Kaita form gets separated! Sally: We need Takua's help! Sonic: Right, you are! Next chapter: The final showdown is about to begin! Who will fall? Sonic and his friends or Makuta? - Chapter 7: The Showdown (Tikal and Takua had arrived at Makuta's core of the lair.) Sonic: Makuta! We have come! (Makuta come out as an infected Matoran.) Sonic: WHAT?! Makuta: I have been waiting for you. Sonic: But- Knuckles: Sonic! It's a trick! We must destroy him! Makuta: Destroy me? You cannot destroy me! Sonic: Are you really Makuta? Makuta: Were you expecting something like THIS?! (Makuta becomes a swirling vortex of gizmos.) Sonic: Everyone! Combine your powers! Fire! Amy: Ice! Sally: Water! Tails: Air! Knuckles: Earth! Big: Stone! Sonic: It's not enough! Tikal: Sonic... Sonic: It's you! Tikal! Tikal: Take these Chaos Emeralds! (Sonic has become Super Sonic!) Super Sonic: I am Super Sonic. I shall defeat you! Makuta: NO!!!! (Makuta is destroyed, for now. Super Sonic has returned to normal. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big and Tikal leaves the core by warp.) Sally: But what about Takua? (She leaves. Takua digs himself out of the temporary dead remains of Makuta. A door open, Leading to a nest. A being of the nest wake up, followed by the others. Takua is warped, too, and find himself in Ta-Wahi.) Vakama: Takua, you looked scared. I know what you saw in there. Come, young one! We must celebrated the defeat of Makuta! Many friends await you there! End of the Rahi saga, and the beginning of the Bohrok saga! - Chapter 8: The Awakening of the Swarm (Our hero have found themselves in Kini-Nui. They here something. Tails: What's happening? Amy: Victory is an illusion, I think. Look, Sonic! There's one of your villagers! Sonic: Yes, little one? Ta-matoran: The Bohrok are here! Sally: We must go now! Knuckles: if this is a threat to your village, it's a threat to all of us! Big: What's Bohrok? Onewa never told me! (At Ta-koro...) Tails: I think those are! Sonic: Let's get 'em! Tails: These are strange Rahi! (Kohrak freezes Tails.) Tails: What? Ice! I'm falling! Sonic: I'll take care of him while you guys go and defeat those creatures! Sally: They're causing an avalanche! Knuckles: MOVE! Sonic: I melted the ice on Tails! Sally, Tails! Combine your powers now! Sally: Water! Tails: Air! Makes a storm! Big: I think they left us a prisoner! What is that? Vakama: The creature that you have defeated are called the Bohrok. They are controlled by the Krana. There are six breeds, Tahnok, Nuhvok, Pahrak, Kohrak, Gahlok, and Lehvak. You must collect eight breeds of the Krana from each swarm. Go now! There is no time to waste! (At Le-koro, Tails find his village wearing Krana.) Matau: Greeting, Tails. We have been waiting for you. Next chapter: Sally and Big finds four Tahnok Krana. - Chapter 9: Search for the Krana Sally: Are you sure this will work, Big? Big: It has to. We can't outfight the Bohrok. Not with out risking harm to the island. So we have to outsmart them, this canyon is our trap, Sally. Knuckles dug a hole from here to the sea. Amy froze the entrance. Sally: I hope you planned wellm then. Big: When the bohrok come, I'll-- They're here! Let's make them feel welcome! Stone shatters ice while fire meets water! Sally: The Tahnok will not be stunned for long! I just have to be fast! (But will her speed be enough when the water began to boil?) Sally (Thinking): I just gotta be fast! (At the gates of Ta-koro...) Amy: Sonic! I have a dark secret! (But Amy's secret will have to wait for the next chapter.) Amy: I just found out that the Krana are alive! Sonic: I wish Vakama told us before! (Meanwhile...) Sally (Thinking): I almost completed this task! What the? The Tahnok are melting the wall! It's falling towards me! Big: I'm coming for you, Sally! Sally: No, Big! Stay where you are! I found four Krana! We must go now! Big: Did the water stop the Tahnok? Sally: I am not certain anything can. They're melting the wall! (Big and Sally use their Mirus to escape.) Sally: Won't they follow us? Big: It depends. (Out on Po-wahi...) Sally: I'm concerned about Tails. Nokama told me that the Krana are mind-controllers! (It was true that Tails was wearing a Krana because he got run over by the Lehvak swarm.) Nexy chapter: Knuckles frees Tails from the Krana. Our heros will enter the nest where they will encounter the Bahrag. - Chapter 10: Into the Bohrok Nest Amy: Look, Sonic! Bohrok Va! Nuju told me about them. Sonic: Vakama didn't know this either! I gotta stop them! Amy: Don't you remember what Vakama said. Sonic: You're right. (Meanwhile at Le-wahi...) Knuckles: Uuunngh! I didn't knew success finding Tails would be that painful! Tails: Flee now or I shall harm you! Knuckles: I have a better idea. Ungh! Now let's try again! Tails: Leave now. Your power won't-- Knuckles: I know. The krana controls the body, but not your will. You're stronger than that paraste. (Tails takes off his Krana.) Tails: I shall not harm Knuckles! Knuckles: Easy now. By the way, I bought some friends. Tails: What are they? Knuckles: They are Boxors, made by Nurapu. The Matoran discover that the Bohrok do not live. They are biomechanical creatures. Tails: We must save Mata-Nui now or else something bad may happen! (Somewhere at Po-Wahi, Sally and Big, encounter the same Tahnok swarm.) Sally: Hurry, Big! This is no time to admire the scenery! Big: I remember that the Matoran used to live in these canyon before the Bohrok drove them away. They're after our Krana! I can see them now! It's too for them that they can't have them back! Sally: I shall end the Tahnok swarms' mission! (She creates a flood. It swept the Tahnok away. Big: We must find the others now! (Meanwhile at the Bohrok nest...) Tails: We must getting close to the power! I can sense it. Amy: I see molten lava heading our way! Knuckles: I can't make a hole in the wall! (Deeper in the nest...) Cahdok: It is done, Gahdok. The mission can proceed. Gahdok: Conformed, Cahdok. Next chapter: The Exo-Toa has been discovered! Will it be strong enough to defeat the Bahrag? - Chapter 11: The Exo-Toa and the Bahrag Amy: Stay back! I know what to do! Knuckles: What kind of stone is this?! It does not shatter! Tails: It doesn't shatter because it isn't there! Sally: What? Tails: Simply stop believing in it, I just disappears! Sally: How is that possible?! Knuckles: Ask questions later. The lava is real! Big: C'mon, Sally! Sally: Sonic, if we can't trust our senses here, then we can trust only each other! Sonic: The floor's crumbling! (Our heros find themselves in a lower part of the Bohrok realm.) Amy: These printings, they look like the Krana we collected! Tails: I has begun! The end of the Bohrok! Knuckles: I don't believe it! Sally: What are these things? Sonic: They look like Exo-suits to me. Mata-Nui shall be free today! (They hop on to the Exo-Toa.) Gahdok: We are the Cahdok and Gahdok, the Bahrag. Cahdok: We must destroy all obstacles. You do not belong. Sonic: Surround them! Gahdok: You fools! Once we get close to each other, we become powerful! Cahdok: Let's kill them! Next chhapter: Will Tikal save our heros and stop the Bahrag? - Chapter 12: All Hope is Never Lost Sonic: This is so hopeless! Tails is half frozen, Knuckles is buried and Sally is in extreme heat. (A familiar light appears, It transformed into Tikal once again.) Tikal: Please get out of those suits! It hinders your powers! Sonic: Okay, whatever you say. (Sonic Sally, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big and Tikal combine their powers and created a cell for the Bahrag.) Cahdok and Gahdok: Fools! You think you have won, but you have unleashed something! Tikal: This way! (Our heros have managed to get out of the nest.) Sonic: At last! Mata-Nui is free! End of the Bohrok saga and the beginning of the Bohrok-kal saga! - Chapter 13: Beware of the Kal Vakama: Even now in every village, Me and the other Turaga are placing symbol on to your shrines of power. Once someone steals your symbol, you will become powerless. Sonic: Yes, Vakama. (At Ko-koro.) Amy: I'm glad that you are all safe. Matoro: I shall guard this symbol for you, young Amy. (Amy leaves Ko-koro. A few hours later, Kohrak-kal appears. It freezes Matoro.) Matoro: No! You can't! Kohrak-Kal: I can. My brothers seek the symbols of the warriors of Mata-Nui. No one must stop us! (Meanwhile, Amy is falling.) Amy: My powers are gone and I'm falling! Next chapter: Sonic and company face the Bohrok-kal! Who shall win? - Chapter 14: Loss of the Elements (The last time we saw Amy, warrior of Ko-koro, she was falling to her doom. In the nick of time, she uses her hammer cusion her fall.) Amy: That was close, too close. (All of the other warriors of Mata-Nui had lost their powers. Meanwhile at Po-koro, our hero had a meeting.) Big: So Tikal rescued you? Amy: I'm not sure if she did. Tahnok-kal: We are the Bohrok-kal. Where is Cahdok and Gahdok? Gahlok-kal: Surrender and tell us or prepare to meet your doom! Tails: Surrender? The heros of Mata-Nui never surrender! (Gahlok-kal magnetizes Tails' feet to the ground. Tails: I can't fly. Knuckles: I shall end this now! Pahrak-kal: Resistance is futile! (Pahrak-kal melt the boulder the Knuckles is holding.) Knuckles: NO! Sonic: Your resistance is futile, Kal. I summon the Mask of sheilding! Nuhvok-kal: I shall crush your sheild! Sonic: Ungh! Sally: Sonic! Tahnok-kal: Face my Electric powers! Kohrak-kal: or my Sonic powers! Lehvak-kal: None can escape my vacuum powers! Sonic: NO! (Later...) Tails: Oh, what happened? Knuckle: We must invade their mission and somehow get our symbols back. Sally: If they find the Bahrag, the swarm will be released again! Sonic: Enough talk already. We must find the Bahrag before they do. Next chapter: Our heros enter the nest once more for the final showdown. Only one side shall win! - Chapter 15: Back to the Nest Big: Oh, no! They've arrive at the nest already! (Silently, our heros descended into to the nest.) Sonic: This hole is new. Tails: I'll inspect it. Sally: Take care, Tails! Be careful! (Deeper into the nest..._ Tails: Oh, my... They're destroying the exo-suits! But no one is in side them! Tahnok-kal: This is the end for all hope on Mata-Nui! Lehvak-kal: It's time to free the Bahrag! With these symbols of power, the swarm shall rise again! (The rest of our heros have descended into the hole) Sonic: There is only one hope: the Mask of Time. I summon it now! Next chapter: Will Tikal's power be enough to defeat the Bohrok-kal and stop the Bahrag from escaping? - Chapter 16: The Vahi and the defeat of the Bohrok-kal Sally: Sonic, is that--? Sonic: Yes, I summoned the Vahi. Vakama gave it to me. Knuckles: It's no hope! The Krana-kal have turned silver! They're using a shield to protect from any force! Tails: Everyone! Focus on your power on the symbols! Tikal: No, you can't. Only I have the power stop the power of silver. (She summons her power to stop the Bohrok-kal. Nuhvok-kal gets warp by a wormhole. Pahrak-kal melts. Pieces of the destroyed Exo-Toa surround Gahlok-kal. Lehvak-kal expoldes. Tahnok-kal gets shocked to death. And Kohrak-kal turns into dust.) Cahdok and Gahdok: NO! (Amy makes any icy staircase so our hero can gets out of the nest.) End of the Bohrok-kal saga and the beginning of the Rahkshi saga! - Chapter 17: The Mask of Light Jaller: Takua! He's got more rocks than a Po-Matoran. Takua! Takua: Look, Pewku! That's why they call me the Chronicler! I bet no one ever recorded this before! Jaller: Takua! What are you doing here alone?! We're supposed to be at the Kohlii match. Takua: Sorry, Jaller. I gotta record this! (Takua grabs the stone and accidentally drop in it, rolls in to the lava stream. The Avohkii pops out of the lava.) Jaller: A great Kanohi mask! Takua: I gotta take it to Vakama! (Takua crosses the lava. Sonic appears.) Sonic: Chronicler! Sight-seeing were you? Takua: Look what I have found! Sonic: Take this to Vakama. After you won the Kohlii match. Next chapter: Its Ta-koro vs. Ga-koro vs. Po-koro in a Kohlii match! Which village should win? - Chapter 18: The Kohlii match. Vakama: This new Kohlii field is dedicated to Mata-Nui. Let us present the three virtues: unity, duty and destiny Crowd: UNITY! DUTY! DESTINY! Vakama: Let us introduce the guest star of this Kohlii match. From the Ta-koro, Sonic! From Ga-koro, Sally! From Po-koro, Big. Big: It's a pleasure to see you, Sally. Sally: Whatever. Sonic: Will you two quit it already?! Onewa: The warriors of Mata-Nui squabble like Gukko birds over a berry. Nokama: They are forgetting how much they need each other. Vakama: Indeed, Nokama. Commentator: From the arid region of Po-koro, copper mask winners, Hewkii and Hafu! Po-Matoran: Yeah! Commentator: From the sining sea of Ga-koro, Hahli and Macku! Ga-Matoran: Go, Ga-Matoran! Commentator: From Ta-koro, Jaller and Takua! Ta-Matoran: Whoo-hoo! Jaller: Do you new move that you have worked on! Takua: That's why I'm here for! (Three hour later of Kohlii excitement, Takua does his move, but misses the ball.) Commentator: I don't think we've seen that move before! (The Kohlii game has ended.) Commentator: Let's hear it from our players! (The player take a bow, the Avohkii slides out of Jaller's pack. The light shines in Jaller's face.) Next chapter: The Turaga tell our heros and the Matoran about the Avohkii. Makuta is back for revenge. - Chapter 19: The Herald of the 7th warrior (At Kini-Nui, Sonic, Sally, Big, The Turaga, and The Matoran looks at the mask of light.) Nokama: This is the mask of light. A mask which is to be worn by warrior of light. Vakama: Legends also foretell the coming of a 7th warrior. Sonic; What are we waiting for? We must prepare for his arrival. Onewa: This warrior won't just appear like you and the others did. He must be found. Sonic: Wait. Once the mask of light dropped out of him, he must be the 7th warrior! Jaller: But, but-- Tell them the truth, Takua! Takua: Okay. Hail, Jaller, the 7th warrior! Sonic and friends: Hail, Jaller! Jaller: How could you do this to me?! (Vakama walks up to Jaller.) Vakama: It seems that you are the herald of the 7th warrior. Will you seek him? Jaller: Of course! And Takua the Chronicler will be coming with me! (Meanwhile at the void, Makuta is alive and thirsty for revenge, but he's not the infected Matoran Makuta that our hero remember.) Makuta: So, the Matoran oppose my will again. (He pulls Kraata out of himself and places them tubes of protodermis.) Makuta: Now their unity will be poisoned, their duty broken and their destiny, I must shatter. (Rahkshi appear out of the tubes.) Makuta: Go my sons, use the shadows. And keep my brother asleep. Next cahpter: The search for the 7th warrior begins! But, danger is ahead. - Chapter 20: Unleash the Rahkshi (Meanwhile at Ga-wahi.) Sally: You were right-- the Rahkshi are headed for Po-koro. Sonic: They will go no futher. We will stop them now! They will never stop Jaller and Takua from searching the 7th warrior-- this is swear! We'll shall teach them a lesson and-- What?? (Sonic falls down.) Sonic: Ungh! Lerahk: Hisssssss! (Lerahk tries to poison Sonic, but Sonic dodges it. Guurahk sticks his staff to the ground, Sally almost falls to her death.) Sally: Ungh! My arm... I wrenched it... and the Rahkshi is coming to finish the job! Guurahk: Hissss! (Tails appears.) Tails: Hardluck, Rahkshi! I am too quick for you! Sonic: You're weakening, Rahkshi! Sally: Sonic! Look out! (Lerahk poisons the ground.) Sally: We must stop this poison! Sonic: We have bigger problems, Sally! Tails: Look! They're aiming for the cliffside! Sonic: No time to dodge! I-- Ungh! (Meanwhile at the void...) Makuta: It is done for those three pests. I must use the power of fright, power and anger. Go, my children, and turn light in to shadow! (On the outskirts of Po-wahi...) Knuckle: Why are you bringing us here? We should be fighting the Rahkshi! Big: Or aiding Jaller and Takua. Whenua: I need to tell you something. The kraata have been plaguing Mata-Nui for years, infecting Kanohi. They are the one the responsible for infecting the Rahi. Big: Why didn't you told us before? Whenua: They are no longer a threat to us. Knuckles: The Kraata are escaping! Whenua: There's no place to run! (Meanwhile at Ta-wahi...) Amy: Ahh! Rahkshi! All six of them! How will I ever escape?! Next chapter: Takanuva is here! Will he be able stop Makuta and the Rahkshi? - Chapter 21: Takanuva is here Amy (Thinking): I must face all six alone! I can't beat them all! I'm going to fail! They'll laugh at me! No! I can't be defeated! (She freezes Turahk. But, Vorahk steals power from her.) Amy: This can't end like this! Sonic: And it will not! Makuta should teach his sons a lesson. Everyone combine your powers now! Fire! Sally: Water! Tails: Air! Amy: Ice! (The Rahkshi get defeated, for now. At Po-wahi...) Knuckles: Amy! Only you ice powers can prevent the Kraata from escaping! (She freeze the entrance of the cave.) Big: I found this strange Kraata. Whenua: It is a shadow Kraata. Big: Now the Kraata are sealed for good! All execept this one. (Meanwhile at Kini-Nui...) Jaller: Are you sure this thing is working right? Takua: I reckon that the 7th warrior is here . (All six Rahkshi appear. Turahk: Hisssss! Jaller: Get away from us! (Turahk sends fear to Jaller and he dies. He is nothing but a mask now.) Takua: NO! Sonic and his friends: Jaller! Takua: There is only one hope left.
