Despite the deceptive name, the Taurika Sphere is a large, armadillo-esque creature that, when threatened, curls up into a sphere. It heats them up to levels that only Ta and Su-matoran can withstand, and tries to run them down. Due to their poor manoeuvrability, they are easily avoided on open fields. After the Bohrok attack, they were jokingly called "Tahnok spheres".
