The Votaka Moose is a rugged, semi-common work cattle that tends to live in colder regions. They can't generate heat on their own, but their antlers draw heat from the sun to keep them, and anyone in close proximity, warm. They can live in warmer climates, but hot climates overheat them, limiting their stamina. As a result, Matoran travelling through hot climates are encouraged to cover their antlers when they show signs of overheating, and removing it when they start to grow cold. While their antlers can heal, and even regrow given enough time, any damage to them will affect their ability to absorb heat. Unless a kind matoran helps a Votaka Moose in this kind of trouble, they will eventually freeze to death. They naturally travel in packs, and are highly protective to those who are in it, regardless of the species. They can be easily angered, and can very easily kill a matoran quickly. As a result, the majority of Votaka Moose that you see accompanying those not of it's kind were likely raised on farms and villages from a young age. __**Name origins**__ - Vo-ya: To conduct energy - Taka: Heat
