HOW DID I GET THE IDEA The American "Thomas Flyer" is the car that won The Great Race of 1908. This automobile race was from New York to Paris. I saw this car at the National Automobile Museum in Reno, NV and it is the equivalent for automobile to what the spirit of St Louis is for planes. I was told during the visit that 80% of the people around the world who saw that car during the race never seen a car before. The roads were probably cahotic, where to get gazoline? etc... Adventure with a big A... Later on, looking at some Adventurers sets, I was thinking: "Hey! This car would be perfect for the Adventurers!"
