Minifig scale Dalek - instructions

Assemble the parts needed (Parts.jpg) and follow these simple steps. Each step has an associated JPEG.

Step 1
Take the 4 headlight bricks, and assemble into the 'tesselation' brick. This forms the base.

Step 2
Pair each Wedge with a 1x3 plate, and put 1 of the 1x2 plates onto the 2x2 plate.

Step 3
Add the 1x1 round plates to the 4 'sides of the Dalek, around the bottom. The 3x2 plate forms the 4th side.

Step 4
Attach the front (2x2 plate section) and back (3x2 plate section) to the base.

Step 5
Take 2 1x2 plates and secure the wedge pieces to their 1x3 plates, across the middle.

Step 6
Attech the sides to the base, sloped edge to the front.

Step 7
Take the 1x2 modfied tile, and stack on top of 2 1x2 plates.

Step 8
Take the 1x1 brick with studs, and attach a 1x2 plate to one side, centrally. The 1x2 Tile to the opposite
side, put the 2 1x1 Tiles on the remaining side studs.

Step 9
Take the two parts from Step 7 and 8, and stack so that the 1x2 plate stack is length ways underneath
the 1x1 brick piece, from front to back.

Step 10
Take the 2 remaining headlight bricks, the lever, antenna and transparent 1x1 round plate and assemble the
arm pieces. The 'sucker' arm is made by putting the antenna end first into the headlight, and putting the
1x1 round plate on the end. The 'blaster' arm is simple the minifig lever attached to the headlight brick.

Step 11
The remaining peices form the eye-stalk and head. Put the 1x1 cone onto the handle of the box wrench,
pointy end first, this then sits on top of the head, which is the 2x2 dome on top of the 2 radar dishes.
These are arranged such that the highlight colour radar dish is between the two body colour parts.

Step 12
Attach the two arms from step 10 to the upper body section from Step 9. The backs of the headlight bricks attach to the front facing 1x2 plate.

Step 13
Attach the head to the upper body part from step 12, this then sits inside the main body section from Step 6.
