Y-Wing Notes

This model was inspired mainly by two other MOCs:

I copied the basic design of the engines and the cockpit module from Mr.
Petersen's design. I then incorporated several elements of Flail's
design - for example, the "underbite" on the front of the cockpit.

I modified the body of the Y-Wing to be as close to the actual movie
model as possible, given the limitations of LEGO. In this I was greatly

The LXF suffers from some of the limitations inherent in LDD. In
particular, I was not able to place the additional parts which I added
to the engines of the physical model to break up it's smooth lines. I
also had to change the details I could add to the engines - apparently,
I bent too many lego rules in my physical construction :-).
