This is an upgraded version of my old "bipEDD" walker. The design is centered around the same principle and mechanism but is more compact and lighter - and generally neater. In functional aspect its center of gravity is higher than the previous model, which makes it a bit wobblier but also increases the weight shift when tilting and allows for a smaller footprint. It's about the same speed, perhaps a little faster. I can't quite determine as the oldschool motor that had been used broke - which was also a reason why I felt the need to pull out my dusty Lego containers and update the construction. I haven't built anything in more than 6 years. It was nice to once again sit down for some hours and apply some serious thinking into the realm of "Lego Laws" and intuitive mechanics.
