Early Films - Index Movie Info Director's Comments ***These films were made when I was using my early productions company, although now, I am Silverfish/Tapey. **Index - LEGO Man's Car is Stolen - 1 Heavy Drinker - 2 The Shake (Walk and Handshake Test clip) - 3 *1. LEGO Man's Car is Stolen - LM gets in his car a drives off, later arriving at the local store. He jumps out of his car and then enters the store. Upon entering, a second LM runs from behind a tree and jumps in LM's car. LM2 backs up then speeds away. LM exits the store after hearing the screeching tires, then passes out from all the excitement. This was my very first movie ever. I was watching LEGO movies on brickfilms.com and really like the idea of making my own. My friend David had been mentioning that he was making his own movie productions place (TapeyProductions.net) and figured my other friends and I could make one with him. He signed us into his company and we just talked about making movies. I got tired of waiting for more info so I did a little bit of research on my own, found some software, and decided to try making one so that I would have experience when we did finally make a movie. The story just sort of came to me and I rendered it in LEGO figures. *2. Heavy Drinker - LM is at the top of a tower of CDs and notices a large glass of orange juice with a straw about mouth level with him. He leans forward and begins slurping the orange juice until he finishes it off. LM begins to feel sick, wobbles a bit, and falls into the glass. The camera then zooms in on him lying in the glass. This was my second movie, which I made at approximately 3 A.M. It starts out fine but I did notice problems when I reviewed it. When drinking the orange juice, the straw is not full of orange juice, as it should be. I had a hard time getting it full for the first couple frames, so I figured no one would notice. I, afterward, had the idea to use two straws (I take a drink, leave LM's straw full, remove my straw and take the picture). The fall - the fall is TERRIBLE, I don't think that it could have been any more rigid or 'choppy.'
