As of August 8th, 2010, Johnny Thunder has had a total of 5 design changes.

Design 1 - Used in the Alpha Test period. Was a placeholder until the textures of Design 4 were ready for use.

Design 2 - A very slight modification of Design 1. The only change is that Johnny's beard is now smaller.

Design 3 - The first design to be seen by Beta Testers. A hybrid of Designs 1 and 4. The designers had completed the face textures of Design 3, however, the leg and torso textures had not been completed. He also was given a different colored hat and blue whip.

Design 4 - The designers finished the torso and leg textures and applied them. 

Design 5 - Fans complained about the new designs, and the developers totally revamped him to look more like his "classic design". However, he now has back printing, a black/dark grey hat, and no face details other then the eyes, moustache, mouth, and eyebrows.
