These were made with a product called Milliput. A very special thanks to Peter Reid whose Cyrians broke me up and for all the pointers he sent me. I still have to do some painting to see how that works. You have to get all the sculpting done within an hour while the material is mouldable. I used all sorts of little tools. Dentist picks and Sculpty type tools were my favourites as well as regular sewing needles and sculpting tools with pins tipped with tiny balls. It is possible to do a little clean up after it hardens and you can do it in stages, although I have not tried this yet. Wetting the putty a bit can help it flow or fill in little imperfections.
