Remote controlled model of Morgan 3-wheeler in 1:91 scale. About this creation When I've seen photos of this car for a first time, I decided to do a LEGO model. It took me some time to actually sit and do that :). I decided to build it as studles construction, what actually didn't work well, as I miss many bricks. Effectively I had to use few "old" bricks and whole construction is not very stiff. From technical point of view it was not very difficult model to be done. I was afraid the chain is not strong enough to transfer XL engine torque to the rear wheel, but finally it is working pretty good. It didn't break even once. My biggest problem was to built it to scale and to show main body shape so it can be recognized. It was a huge problem as I do not have a lot of bricks in one colour. Initially I wanted to do full independent suspension, but it didn't work well (block I built to fix the wheels on, caused friction to the steering arm and turning was not possible). Effectively I stiffened the suspension and shock absorbers are only for visual purposes now :). So, few technical parameters: Scale - approx. 1:91 Length - 387mm Width - 205mm Height - 140mm Power functions: Drive - 1 no. XL Motor (Gear ratio increased - 1.875:1) Steering - 1 no. M Motor (with RTC block) Front lights working when driving Easy removable battery box Technic functions: Working engine pistons Rear wheel cover can be opened I know the body has lots of holes and cockpit is moved slightly to the rear comparing to original, but it is the best I could do with bricks I have.
