Name: Icarus Year of commissionning (in SPC): 2100 Year of decommissionning : 2205 Type: Transport Mission: Freighter, research Size: 24x24x73 studs (use 1x1 brick as reference) Stages: 4 (cargo hold, cryopods, cargo bay, cockpit. Engines: 4 Nuclear Ion Engine with fuel on top part. Speed: 1 light-year / 3 years Autonomy: 200-300 years Shields: none Other: Manufactured during the first stages of human exploration of space, the Icarus was used as a freighter and science vessel. The cryopods allowed the ship to go beyond the solar system where travel time was not mesured in months but in decades. With the discovery of warp drives and FTL (Faster Than Light) engines, they were decomissioned and some were stored in museums. Still, some are believed to be still travelling through cold space to unknown destinations. P.S.: Most of my lego pieces are 2x4 bricks and 2x2 45 degrees slopes so most of my designs will tend to be "square".
