Name: Moonbase Mobile Module Year of commissionning (in SPC): 2050 Year of decommissionning : 2287 Type: Civilian Moonbase module Mission: Transport people, cargo; Landing platform Size (Studs): 48x37x33 Size (metric): 38x29x26 Stages: 2 (living quarters; lift and landing pad Engines: Fusion reactor Speed: 30-50 km/h Autonomy: 3-5 days Shields: none, but it is compensated with heavy armor, mainly to protect against micro-meteorites. Crew: Captain Communication officer Landing officer 1 technician up to 8 passengers Other: Used during the first ages of space exploration after moonbases were built. To assure regular contact between moonbases on the moon and the new colonies on Mars, a heavy transport was needed. The Moonbase Mobile Module is able to connect to any standard Moonbase dock. It also have a rear pivoting ramp for ground access and a landing pad on top. A lift allows communication between the top and the living quarters. Its massive size was needed because of the heavy armor it had to carry across the Moon and Mars. The reason was to protect the vehicle against micro- meteorites impacts. It was decomissionned after shields technology was discovered in 2287, allowing individual vehicles to roam outside the cities. P.S.: Most of my lego pieces are 2x4 bricks and 2x2 45 degrees slopes so most of my designs will tend to be "square".
