Name: Vanguard Year of commissionning (in SPC): 2289 Year of decommissionning : 2431 Type: Military troop transport Mission: Troop transport Size (Studs): 64x62x13 Size (metric): 50x49x10 Stages: 1 (troops in saucers; fighter food and cargo inside the middle section) Engines: FTL (Faster Than Light) Speed: 1 light-year/day Autonomy: 1 month Shields: light (against space debris mostly. it can't handle a heavy firefight or missiles) Crew: Captain Communication officer Fighter pilot 20-30 Marines Other: Used by Earth forces during the colony wars, it was built to quickly bring and dispatch marines on the land. Since the middle section cannot sustain atmospheric entry, the forward and rear section merge together for the last part of the trip. Each half saucer has trap doors allowing faster dispatching. The small fighter inside the middle section is mainly used for guard duty while the saucer is away or for reconnaissance. It uses gravity engines, so it cannot go very far from any important mass (big ship, planet or asteroid). P.S.: Most of my lego pieces are 2x4 bricks and 2x2 45 degrees slopes so most of my designs will tend to be "square".
