This universe (SPC) is pure fiction... i think.

SPC stands for Space Pionneer Confederation.

It takes place in a possible future where human is doing
the conquest of space, with some troubles.  To help people
understand a bit better the "infos" files provided with
SPC models, here is a brief history of humankind starting
from 2004.


2050: Mars colony is created
2100: Icarus is commissionned and many of them are sent
	off the solar system for colonising nearby planets.
2200: First contact with an alien ship from the Jurai
	empire.  Earth and its colonies are added to the
	galaxy charts as "primitive, violent, expansionist"
	Jurai officially allows other races to start
	commerce with earthlings.  They are forbidden to
	settle on earthling colonies, however, and can
	only be tourists.

2205: First FTL (Faster Than Light) engines are put on
	earthling ships.
2287: Jurai allows shields technology to be shared to
	earthlings by other races.
2313: Start of the colony wars.  Many earthling colonies
	are frustrated by the lack of interest from Earth
	into their problems and decide to go independant.
	As the war started, they realised however that
	they did not have any war infrastructure.  After
	a decade, and many bombings later, the problem was
	solved and they could finally fight back.
2371: Warp Drives are discovered, allowing both sides to
	start surprise attacks

2438: Jurai steps in and destroy all earthling forces,
	replacing all governements with planetary
	mayorships, thus ending the war.  All colonies
	then became an united coalition, the Space Pionneer
	Confederation.  Their goal is mainly to protect
	peace between colonies and explore the galaxy to
	colonize new planets.  Other races can now settle
	on earthling's colonies.
