Bogie Couplers ================ Whilst building a particularly heavy train that needed to be hauled up a slope I found that the standard magnetic train couplers were not able to hold the weight of the train. I therefore needed to come up with another method for connecting trains. Method 1 -------- This method is very simple and uses the least number of parts. It does suffer from the drawback of having no horizontal pivot. This causes the lift arm piece (#32017) to bend when the track changes gradient the coupling tends to warp under the strain. Method 2 -------- This method most closely emulates the pivot points in the magnetic couplers. It does, however, use a lot of elements. Method 3 -------- This method provides enough pivot points for most needs whilst only using 5 pieces.
