The marble ship was an early marble machine. Really it was less of a machine
and more of a toy, as the only moving parts were two simple flip flops. A 
picture of one is provided in marbleship02.gif and the other was very similar.

It made a lot of noise whether the marbles shot across the hull into the
"basket" of windows (in the left of marbleship01.gif) or down the tower (badly
shot in marbleship03.gif).

I had some "action shots" but they didn't come out -- the marbles were too fast
 for my shutter finger.

Also in this folder is marblepump01.gif, the only lasting picture of my stab at
the "standard" marble pump. It kept jamming, but I blame my cheap marbles for that.
