This is my second attempt at a trial truck, this time a 4x4. Power: electric- 2 old style 9v motors for drive, another for steering. Construction: Studded, modular- the front axle, central gearbox and rear axle can all be separated. Another rear axle can easily be added Transmission: full time 4wd with 3 differentials. Four speed manual gearbox with locking center differential. Suspension: Hybrid- pendular axles front and rear, with springs for stability, which also support most of the weight. Obstacles up to 7.5cm can be driven over with all wheels in contact with the ground.
