I have always wanted to make a Lego Model of the Vic Viper, but I couldn't quite 
figure out how to do the front end with the pieces I had.  I finally got the idea
after completing the Copperhead model.  It's not perfect, but I am not going for 
a perfect replica, just an 'inspired model,' since this fighter has to work in
my universe.  That's why it has extra guns on it that the VV doesn't have.

I chose the T-301, as it's called, from Gradius V because I think it looks the 
best.  Also, it's the only one I have relatively good pictures of.  I have
altered the model slightly from the original renders I did, and have updated
the MPD to reflect those changes.  The biggest change is to the lower main
landing gear, which I completely re-did.  There is a minor alteration to that
bit behind the cockpit as well.

The pics of the Vic Viper from Gradius and Salamander (Life Force) show the ship 
with twin engines, and in every subsequent game it only has one.  Incidentally, 
the Vic Viper is called the 'Warp Rattler' in the first Gradius game on the NES, 
hence the name of this model.

In the future, I hope to do a more accurate Axelay model, as well as a model of 
the Lord British Space Destroyer from the Salamander, Gradius Gaiden, and Parodius
games.
