This is a model of the cute "Wismarer Schienenbus" also known as "Schweineschnäuzchen", i.e. little pig's nose. Its registration number is VT133, although the Arnold-N Catalogue 1987/88 claims it is the VT89. The first railbus of this type was built in 1932. The costs were 23500 Reichsmark and it had a high speed of 36 km/h. They were built for a service life of 20 years, but in 1976 still 20 railbuses were active. (Source: Arnold-N Catalogue 1987/88). The roof serves as a storage place for luggage and the racks next to the bonnets are indeed suitable for carrying bicycles. Originaly a Ford diesel engine could be found under each bonnet, one for going forward and one for going reverse! Compared with a BR05, it is very small.
