Explaination of "Professor Trawlney's Class" **CURRENT PIC IS WORK IN PROGRESS, BETTER PIC WILL BE POSTED LATER!!** This MOC is (obviously) NOT based on the licenced Lego kits we've been seeing. I find those kits have many holes and little detail -- though, many good parts. Inspiration for kit: Well, if you've seen my minifigs, you'll know a few months ago I did minifigs for some characters that are introduced in HP: POA. (With the possible exception of Angelina). Now that the trailer is out, I felt compelled to interpret my vision of this classroom before the film comes out. Rowling, J.K. (1999). Harry Potter: And the Prisoner of Azakaban. Vancouver: Raincoast Books. pg. 79. For Americans, the version I have is the Canadian version, so you page# may differ. The commonwealth countries have the British version, however, since certain terms have different meanings in "American English" you guys have a "translated" version. At any rate the chapter title is "Talons and Tea Leaves". Seated in the class, I have included Ron, Harry, Hermione, Neville, Parvati Patil and Lavander Brown. There is also a blond haired boy climbing the stairs, but he's mostly there to point out the trapdoor. Speaking of stairs, I thought of several ways to overcome that obstical, but in the ended decided the focus should be to emphasis the other details in the room. Some details are limited, but limited only by the quantity of my pieces -- eg. 2 crystal balls, 1 large curtain, 1 pack of cards... ect. The furniture is mismatched. I felt this was best because for those of you who have read "Order of the Pheonix" we see the Professor become somewhat unhinged . I have always felt this character was like a "gypsy" (sorry if that term offends), especially as we learn more about her in "OOTP. The room is also described as part attic.
