This is my attempt to reconstruct 42079 Forklift from images in july 2018.
First two images are based on released set pictures. Similar to 42075 I started to model the outside. 
From beginning I chose to have an orange/grey/white colour scheme.
I couldn't figure out how steering would properly work.

Eventually, pictures from first builds became available in eurobricks forum. 
Thus I could add proper interior transmissions. 

Last pictures in sequence (starting with index 071) show my attempt to get a properly working steering, e.g. turning left when exhaust is turned counter-clockwise.
images 071_ and 073_ show the concept and from 081_ onward my implementation to the forklift is show. Although I removed two triangles the model remains sturdy.

update 180724:
In eurobricks forum topic on 42079 it was suggested to reel up the string that is fastened to the fork when it is raised.
Photos 10n_ show that this concept works nicely: 
while standard heigth is just less than 15 studs (cf. image 045_..) I got about 20..21 studs (image 103_..).
