These pictures show my modification of set 42079.
The inside is rather empty and there seems to be enough space to -easily- introduce some modifications.
It also helps that the riginal set appears to be build from functional sub-assemblies.

Aims:
- proper steering, e.g. vehicle should follow turning direct of stering
  - steering to be done by warning light as most other technic sets rather than exhaust.
    This may yield a better feeling of driving.
- extended fork lift range, cf. my modification in folder 42079
- tilting of fork by means of linear actuator rather than simle lever. 
  This will give much better control of transported goods.

Remarks:
- Fork not yet installed. This will be same as in my other 42079 folder with reel up of string to get more reach.
- I used white 13l beams for the drivers cabin instead of 11L ones. therefore the cabin is one stud too high.
- open: check if motor can be driven from the front side . Then a third cylinder may fit.
- open: check if knob wheels can be put on both sides.
