When I started looking for LEGO models in the internet some years ago, one of the first pages I came across was the "Sehr Schnell Tuning" page (http://onyx.malagraphixia.com/Sehr_Schnell/Sehr_Schnell_8880_ProjectCar.htm). I was stunned both by the idea and the presentation of the various add-ons for the 8880 super car.

But not until now I started modifying my own 8880. Most of the changes are inspired by or taken from the above mentioned website.

- low cross section wheel: The 68.8x36 ZR tyres from the 8386 or 8649 will fit on the 8880 hub
- sport wheel rim ( http://onyx.malagraphixia.com/Sehr_Schnell/Sehr_Schnell_8880_Sport_Wheels.htm) with different center 
- chassis has been lowered to accompany with the smaller wheels 
(http://onyx.malagraphixia.com/Sehr_Schnell/Sehr_Schnell_8880_Sport_Sus.htm)
- some sort of supercharger on top of the standard V8 engine, the 12 long technic beams above had to be replaced by 1x.. plates 
- four exhaust pipes
- different set of rear lights

- I haven't made any changes to the car body (yet).
