This is a modification of my first trailer (cf. folder plain-trailer-01): I could not fit the linear actuator to raise the tipping trough. 1. Angle between actuator and trough was too small. Therefore too much force was required at the begin of the lift. 2. Framework was not stable enough to cope with the force from linear actuator. 3. Mounting brackets for trough had to be stronger. Therefore the trailer is made of a three "stud" high lattice frame. Thus and to fix the linear actuator I removed the axles pivots. These are now attached rigidly to the trailer frame. Tipping can be done in three directions. It is selectable by means of two axle pins. The setup is stable enough that the trough can be tilted sideways. The opposite wheels of the trailer are then just off the ground. This trailer fits to 42078 Mack truck. list@electronic-origins.net
