Spybotics External Switch I really like the value/cost ratio I’m getting from my Spybotics module. To increase that value even more, I wanted a good way to control external motors with it. I decided to accomplish this using a couple of polarity switches, driven by the built-in motors of the Spybotics module. This configuration allows me to have two independently controlled circuits that run off of the same or different external power sources. The assembly attached to the Spybotics module is very compact and works consistently. The range of motion for the polarity switch is limited to being on or off (no reversing of polarity, but that might be something I’ll add in a future version). To actuate the switch all I have to do is run the motor at speed 1 for 15/100 seconds.
