Databank Theta wing.

During the Clone Wars, the CoIS suprised friend and foe by introducing this unique vessel. A lethal combination of armor, speed and firepower make this ship the superior craft in both land and space based warfare.

The large wheel supports the crafts powersource, engines, repulsorlift coils, ammo and giroscopes. The wheel during landbattles rolls across the floor and tilts to the left or right to steer. At one side of the wheel sit the thruster engines, which fire up when the ship takes of. When in flight, the wheel easily rotate into any direction, letting the ship turn and revert in a very short space and time.

The pilot sits on the right side of the wheel, where he can not see the weapons. But due to a computer controlled system, the weapons always point in the direction which the ship is moving. The pilot can break away from the wheel in an emergency and take of on it's own.

Although this ship was incredibly succesfull, it's costs and engineering dificulty prevented any other similar design to be produced after or during the wars. When the CoIS fell apart, the surviving Theta wings were sold or disasembled.
