- A-wing model - It took 15 houres to build this model, and it was finished on 16-1 '02. It measures 81cm long and 42cm wide, and it is supported on it's own landinggear. The srpings make it bounce a bit when you touch it. The scale is just bigger then a Technic figure. Most of the ship was build in one go, but some parts needed to be rebuild to fit the rest. Most work whent into the back off the ship, and the tailwings. The engines are a bit to small, but the rest looks okay. Since I don't know how the interior of the ship looks, I just build a seat and a stearing wheel. The model is primarly made up out of plates, which cover almost 75% off it. The rest is just sloped bricks and normal bricks. Finding the bricks was hard, especialy when I ran out of grey strips. I build this model because Guybrush (known from fbtb.net) builds alot of UCS scale ships from Starwars, but he hasn't build the A-wing before. He asked people to build UCS's so I started work on this thing. The goal was to build a UCS model, but since I started with the engines which got pretty big, most off the model had to be build in the same scale. It actualy turned out bigger then the scale of the engines. I think this model really shows the transformation from Jedi Starfighter to A-wing.
