Kassi Nova:

Mech Designation # 122 J-F

Kassi's known for her solid jamming skills as much as she is for her main weapon-- a giant,
dragon-headed crossbow gauntlet. accented by a set of trifurcated blade wings and flame-
spitting leg boosters, it's no suprise Doktor Klasna nicknamed her mech the Red Dragon.

She can launch ignited plasma bolts or tri-spiked electric harpoons to distances up to ten miles
at full extension, but due to the relatively short distance the track covers, a limiter has obviously
been placed on her formidable firearm. (no pun intended.)

if the plasma bolts fail to deter blockers ahead of her, she can use her mask of temporary
invulnerability to just smash her way through, wielding the edges of her bow and the horns
of the dragon head on top of it as very nasty offensive blades.

damn, that crossbow was fun to make. I had assembled it before I even finished photographing
the previous wave. ^^;; 
it works quite well, using the notch on the back of the blue friction pin/axle piece to keep the
string in place and resting the axle extender sleeve on the top of the rubberband to act as a
catch. it's pretty tricky depending on how many rubberbands you use for added power, but
it'll stay with some fenaigling. then tap on the nose of the dragon head to fire.
