Polly Graf, Mech Designation 7-B/P-D Polly's mech was originally a mobile scanning mech for the customs service. her elaborate sensor systems now prove useful on a track where rollermechs disappear and illusions are as common as hits to the announcers' table. As a skater, her heightened visual and thermal scanners are limited, only showing invisible skaters as faded "ghost" images on her HUD, and various holograms, illusions, and psychic disturbances as slightly less than corporeal. nonetheless, even this slight advantage is enviable. as a referee, she also gains an exterior visual scanner that adds a broader spectrum to her vision. She can see when Angry Old Man Willis is slacking off on sweeping the hangar floor... from behind three solid protodermis-reinforced concrete bulkheads. She fights with a quarterstaff posessing a rare acoustic vibranium core. as she hits things, the staff concentrates and redirects the shockwaves back to its target, creating a smack that can jar the fillings loose from any rollergirl she hits. it can also be used to polevault over other blockers. the quarterstaff can split into two, producing her drumsticks. *builders notes* jeez, this mech fought me all the way. I wanted the drum set, and I dig how it turned out, but Polly's wings were originally meant to be an extra set of arms for..I dunno...more efficient beat-keeping? needless to say, that got thrown out pretty fast. and for random information, Polly's drummer nickname is "Gator." hence that pictures' name. ...does this now mean I have to make the rest of Giant Robot Winelord? ^^;;
