"Matoran Transformed" by Urutapu the Master of Purity of BZPower/ Urutapu Metru of Forum of Destiny The protodermis outside shimmered as Toa Vakama Metru stood at the threshold of the Great Temple in Ga-Metru. The brow of his dark red Huna Metru was furrowed. He was in Deep Thought. "Since when are Matoran just zapped into Toa?" Whenua asked Nuju. Nuju's glowing turquoise eyes seemed to be glazed. It was as if he was staring right through Whenua--right into his soul. Suddenly the lens on Nuju's Matatu Metru clicked. His eyes regained life. He replied, "When Uncertain Times lie ahead." Onewa examined his new, more powerful form. He looked at something in his hand---a small brown stone. He realized that it was carved in his new likeness. "The Toa Stones--the Koma--they did it. A hush fell around the group. Nokama turned to Matau. Her orange eyes were wide with curiosity--or rather, worry. "Why us? What did we do?" "Who cares? We are powerstrong Toa-heroes now! No time to greatworry!" Matau put his hand on Nokama's shoulder. "Breatherelax. This is a goodlight thing." Suddenly, Vakama turned to everyone. He seemed shaken, pale. "What is matterwrong, firespitter?" Matau asked. "You look like you've seen a vaporghost!" Vakama could only mumble. "What did he say?" Whenua asked Nuju. One of the eyebrows on his Ruru Metru was raised skeptically. "I see it, too" Nuju responded. "The City is in grave danger. It is doomed--all of it--to be destroyed. Only the power of the Great Kanoka can rebuild it." "I have heard that legend. One Great Kanoka Disk in each metru, each with its own mystical properties." Onewa said. "But they may be just that--legends." "We have no choice but to believe in it. It is our Destiny. It was why we were made Toa. You all know what Turaga Dume said--'Believing in our Unity and upholding our Duty, we will face our Destiny. The Morbuzakh vines are dismantling Metru Nui. We must stop them!" All that time, Nuju was using his mask to stare through the Temple walls. He simply muttered, "Now." A huge black plant tendril crashed through the wall.
