When the Visorak invaded Metru Nui, a Rock Raptor was chased by the spiders to Ga-
Metru, where there were multiple vats of energized protodermis. The Rahi fell into a vat, 
where it was transformed into a mass of mutating Viruses with the ability to absorb the 
properties of whatever it touched. The Visorak captured the four-limbed creature that 
emerged. Absorbing the mutating venom they injected it with, the creature grew twice its 
original size, absorbing whole creatures into its mass.
	Escaping from the Visorak, the creature, still having the mind of a Rock Raptor, fled to Po-Metru, where it 
absorbed a Tunnel Stalker, causing its armor to thicken and two blades to sprout from its back. The creature
retreated to the Archives, a safe place, where it stumbled upon a yellow Rahkshi, absorbing it, gaining multiple
spines and a heated touch. It also found a strangely heat-resistant staff that’s head set aflame when pounded on 
the ground, which it adopted. When the Toa Metru returned to Metru Nui, it fled to Xia.
	While there, it underwent various absorptions, mutations, and power gains/losses over 1,000 years. The
lasting changes were the loss of heat touch, many elements of armor being absorbed (with gold being the prevailing
color), becoming undetectable by the Mata Nui robot, and gaining a second pair of legs and a Xian scythe. The 
creature was unable to retain anonymity at this point, and was chased by the Vortixx back to Metru Nui.
	On returning, the creature tried to hide from the recently-returned Matoran. It succeeded, until a Ta-
Matoran named Aft discovered it. After a fight that smashed his Akaku, Aft was absorbed, with only his torso 
visible, giving the creature near-Matoran level intelligence. The Matoran consciousness of the creature had the 
desire to find one who could free him from the monstrosity, but, when Teridax’s Krakaahn appeared in the stars, the 
Matoran’s fear of Makuta and a Rahi’s fight-or-flight instinct induced a return to the Archives. There it stayed, 
until Aqua Magna’s collision blew open a passage to Spherus Magna. Shortly after emerging, it encountered two 
Skrall that, after growing two more arms, it quickly engaged. Leaving charred corpses behind, it walked off with 
their two Skrall swords. After the world turned fertile, it encountered an OoMN member carrying a Noble Hau, who 
the creature killed for the mask. Residual Toa energy in Lhikan’s Hau temporarily stopped its mutation.
	At present, the creature has four legs, four arms, and a Matoran-esque head bearing a Noble Hau. Its armor 
consists of layers of spines, including two large back blades, for defense. It wields two Skrall swords, the fire 
staff, and the scythe. It absorbs or mutates what it comes in contact with, and would continue mutating if not for 
the energy in the Hau. Its Matoran consciousness still prefers the name Aft, and even now is seeking a way to free 
himself. However, the Rahi inside of him hungers for more Toa energy, and its most abundant source: Toa.
