In parts04-car-names and parts05-train-name, you see examples of how the decals
worked out. These tiles and bricks use the zephyr font available from
www.RailFonts.com and "Inkjet decals for windows" (i.e., window sticker) 
material from the local computer store. The drumhead uses the custom artwork,
 provided one level up.

Meanwhile, the porthole windows and windshields were custom paint work, more
