Would love to hear more of your thoughts on how Will would be with a son or a daughter. I do agree that Will would probably idealize any daughter of his (something a lot of father's are guilty of on smaller levels, I feel). Also how differently would any traits inherited from Will exhibit in a son and a daughter?

@milkfordragons answered the same question in a whole ass essay, so definitely check that out. It’s all the same to me. I think Will would have serious boundaries issues with a daughter but because he is intelligent and self aware, he would go insane over it and feel psychotically guilty. With a son he’d be detached like he seemed to be with Wally. In terms of traits, I think his daughter would definitely be worse than him because of the issues he would have with her. She’d be the aspect of him that is not ashamed of the darkness, but wouldn’t be a Hannibal of course. These traits combined she’d probably be a vigilante. The son would be distant from him and be relatively normal or harmless but with tons of daddy issues.
