But the interesting thing is that…This is completely turned around. Because Hannibal says “could also be resentment”, Will is resentful of him. So Will is talking about H, H is talking about Will. And He couldn’t bear to be touched by her is such a telling line. There’s just so much there. Hannibal touched Will on the end of this episode.

And also Will factually uses Hannibal’s eyes as a way to gauge his vulnerability. We get total blackness when Will perceives him as a monster and we get normal eyes when Will perceives him as vulnerable or human.
