ace people in this fandom are annoying as fuck, they poop on everybody's posts that sexualizes (a canonically sexualized show), I don't get why they feel the need to make everything about them and demonize sexuality

Agreed. Asexual representation is absolutely important, and no one’s disputing that. But just as I wouldn’t attempt to turn explicitly ace-centered media into something overtly sexual, because that would miss the point, you can’t reshape a narrative to suit your personal ideology of what’s “right” or “wrong” either. That’s what fanfiction is for: space to explore alternative interpretations without distorting the original tone or intent.
It’s one thing not to resonate with or enjoy sexual themes, that’s entirely valid. But it’s another thing entirely to cross into demonizing sexuality and those who express it. The truth is, I rarely, if ever see people calling asexuality wrong or inferior in this fandom. So why is it that, time and again, ace voices feel entitled to frame sexual expression as flawed, lesser, or morally suspect?
